Editor: Myjia to name First Toa Payoh as homeground?

Boon Lay - Myjia FFC fans are beginning to wonder if First Toa Payoh will be considered as the team's homeground.
The team has played a total of eight games at the field and have a considerable record there despite suffering their heaviest defeat at the hands of Greenie. At present, Myjia's record at First Toa Payoh reads: Won 4, drawn 2, lost 2, scored 17, conceded 22.
Not exactly the best of records but certainly one that is improving especially after last week's stunning 3-2 victory over ExSinchi FC.
The victory was even sweeter given that ExSinchi were on paper much stronger than Myjia and despite leading scorer Junhao missing a host of chances, he still managed a brace to bring his remarkable tally to 8 goals this season, 5 of which were scored at First Toa Payoh.
Let's not forget the other scorers. The previous game also at First Toa Payoh saw Kenneth hit a rocket past the stranded opposition keeper and against ExSinchi, we saw yet another beauty from another homegrown talent.
Jackson Seetoh, hit four goals in Myjia's debut season but his latest goal at First Toa Payoh has got to be one of the best goals he will ever score. Cutting in from his left wing position after allowing Delvin to overlap, Jackson eluded two markers to glance a beautiful header into the bottom corner. The cross came from Delvin who provided another assist for Junhao's winning goal. The goal was quality all over and it's not just great goals seen from Myjia at First Toa Payoh.
Raymond has been in superb form all season and his series of brilliant saves from the ExSinchi No. 9 had the crowd purring in delight yet again.
So, two brilliant victories at First Toa Payoh coupled with great goals and superb saves. Perhaps, just one more swashbuckling performance at First Toa Payoh will really convince the Myjia contingent that home is sweetest at First Toa Payoh.
