Hougang - Myjia FFC suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday, partly due to the unavailability of several key players.
Three quick goals in succession for the Fruitees in the first half hour doused any fire remaining in the Myjia players. Myjia though, got a consolation goal of sorts just before half time when a counter attack was eventually converted by on-loan player Stanley.
That goal proved to be the only reward for the much-weakened Myjia team who fielded Jerry in goal and had to recall Peter Koh for the match from FC Shanghai where he has been on loan.
The second half was a rather one-sided affair and the Fruitees avenged their defeat last season with further goals to end the match 7-1 in their favour, hence posting Myjia's heaviest defeat this season.
