Boon Lay - Myjia FFC recent unbeaten run ended on Saturday at the hands of St. Pat's Old Boys.
Despite leading 2-1 at halftime through Jackson and Junhao, Myjia failed to keep up the tempo and eventually finished on the losing side at 5-2 in favour of St Pat's.
Myjia players rued the misses during the game and believed the referee has to take much of the blame for his myopic view of the game.
Winger Wilson Tan had appeared to level the score for Myjia at 3-3 but his effort was judged to be on the line as the keeper scrambled back to collect his fluffed parry.
The winger had another chance later on in the match when his low drive from outside the box went inches wide.
Most annoyingly, midfielder Leong Wai Meng had a legitimate goal wrongly ruled offside after he thought he had made amends for an earlier miss in the first half where his sliced scissors kick went off the mark.
All in all, a thoroughly disappointing performance by Myjia, missing Kenneth Koh in midfield who could have provided the extra spark to ignite a Myjia comeback.
